On December 15, 2017, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office presented South Florida nonprofit organization Little Smiles with a check for $196,000, which was raised from its “No Shave November” challenge.

“Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office personnel was pleased to choose Little Smiles as our 2017 ‘No Shave November’ charity,” said Palm Beach County Sheriff Bureau Director Teri Barbera. “We are inspired by the mission of Little Smiles and we hope that our donation continues to help provide resources, help provide emotional support, help heal hearts and create smiles for the children that have been impacted by serious illness, homelessness or tragedy.”

This is the largest single donation Little Smiles has received in its 18-year history. Contributions made by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will be used help local children in Palm Beach County.

“We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office,” said Little Smiles President Chip Lubeck. “These funds will advance our mission to help kids escape the reality of their unfortunate circumstances.”
