Little Smiles is hosting our FIRST EVER virtual 5K!
Join us from June 14th to June 30th in running, walking, skipping, or however you do a 5K.
With this event being virtual, you can do it anywhere. Some may do it over the course of the two weeks, other may do it over a few days on a walk with family, and some may run the whole 5K in one shot. Participate your way while making a BIG IMPACT with Little Smiles.
Money raised during this event will go toward Little Smiles programming… but what does that mean? Little Smiles will take proceeds of this event and put it towards things such as pizza night, movie night, lunch, arts and crafts, toys, and other events at our facilities. Proceeds will also go toward fulfilling individual requests from children in any of our facilities.
Your efforts in fundraising will help kids be kids during difficult times.
How Do I Participate?
Step 1: Sign up for the 5K at the link above. Register by 5/18 and you are guaranteed a special event t-shirt, medal, and bib (seen to the right). If you join after, these will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Step 2: In your confirmation email, you will see a personalized link to your fundraising page. Send that link to friends and family to let them know you are participating! They can join you in a team you create, or they can create their own pages to participate!
Step 3: As you fundraise, you will hit milestones. These milestones allow you to receive LIMITED EDITION Little Smiles merchandise (as seen below!). On June 30th at 11:59 PM, fundraising totals will be pulled and you will be able to redeem one (1) of these prizes based on how much is fundraised. Here’s a fun fact: you can donate to your own fundraising page!
Step 5: Join us on June 14th for a special 5K kickoff!
Step 6: Join our Facebook event page and share photos of you participating in the 5K! *There may be special giveaways happening on that page as well!*
Step 7: HAVE FUN! At Little Smiles, we are all about enjoying the little moments. Use this as an opportunity to get together (safely) with family and be a part of something bigger than yourself.
