Little Smiles’ Orlando Ambassadors, Julie and Angie, had the opportunity to represent Little Smiles at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children by providing pizza for the Childhood Cancer Survivors Luncheon. These brave kids have overcome such challenges, and we are honored to celebrate them!
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Nicole Grossmayer to the Little Smiles family as our new executive director.
Nicole has been in the nonprofit field for 10 years and has worked with both national and local organizations, including The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach. She is excited to bring her varied background in donor cultivation, event execution, and sponsorship acquisition to the Little Smiles team.
“I have been a fan of Little Smiles for years now, and am thrilled to play a role in providing opportunities for kids to still be kids while going through unimaginable times,” says Nicole.
When not working, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband Seth, their dogs Lola and Dahlia, and cat, Lucy.
Please give Nicole a warm welcome when you see her out and about at our Little Smiles events around town. We are so grateful to have her as part of a team!
Our very generous friend Vanilla Ice stopped by Palms West Hospital today to meet some of children and families Little Smiles helps. What a great way to celebrate his $25,000 donation from Celebrity Family Feud -pizza and toys for the entire pediatric unit!
“Kids are kids and they want to enjoy being a kid no matter what’s going on in their lives,” said Rob Van Winkle (Vanilla Ice). “If you can put a smile on their face for a brief moment, it’s worth its weight in gold.”

Often times children are hospitalized during their favorite days of the year, their BIRTHDAY! At Little Smiles, we make sure they are celebrated with balloons, cupcakes, and of course a birthday surprise! It is so fun to see their little faces light up when they see what their nurse has requested for them. (Especially for this mini Moana fan!) Happy birthday sweet girl!
The kids at Real Life Children’s Ranch have been guests of Little Smiles at many of our signature events this year. We decided they deserved an event of their own! Together with the generous volunteer help from Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Girls Basketball Team, we created a fun field day at the ranch. Snow cones, water slides, bounce houses, Nerf Gun fights, and custom tie-dye shirts made for a fantastic field day!
